Best movies on Netflix
What are the 5 most popular series on Amazon Prime?

The majority of us have to return to work the following day, so midweek holidays are the worst. For those Amazon Prime Video users who were unfortunate enough to have to return to work, we recommend that you spend this weekend relaxing and watching some of the best streaming movies available.

Including some of the best action, comedy, horror, drama, and thriller films available to streamers, these are our recommendations for the top five Amazon Prime Video movies of the weekend.

The Beekeeper (2024)

It appears like Jason Statham is seeking retribution once more. Since we're very certain that the humorous moments in The Beekeeper weren't intended to be amusing, the film isn't strictly speaking an action comedy. At the beginning of the movie, Statham's character Adam Clay works as a real beekeeper, but he is also a member of a covert group called Beekeepers.

Adam is happy to lead a modest existence until he discovers that his landlady and friend Eloise Parker (Phylicia Rashad) has been duped by con artists who embezzle millions from a charity she manages. Adam's wrath drives him to search for the con artists who encouraged Eloise to take her own life after she kills herself out of humiliation. After that, .there are other sequences in the movie where Statham kicks ass.

Pearl (2022)

It seems sense to watch Pearl, the film's precursor, again now that MaXXXine is opening in theaters this week. Mia Goth, who plays Pearl from X again, co-wrote the narrative with director Ti West. Pearl has aspirations of becoming a famous person, but her husband Howard Pratt (Alistair Sewell) is away fighting in the war.

Pearl can't seem to reach her dreams, which is unfortunate for everyone else. And terrible things happen to people when Pearl's expectations are disappointed. Pearl is dangerous to everyone around her, and she is unable to recognize herself for the monster that she truly is. However, it's hilarious to see Pearl lose all sense of reality.

Oppenheimer (2023)

Blockbuster dramas that also win Best Picture Oscars are rare, but Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer stands apart from the others. This month marks the film's almost one-year anniversary, and it's still worth seeing for the July Fourth holiday. One of the main architects of America's rush to develop the first atomic weapon during World War II, J. Robert Oppenheimer, was portrayed by Cillian Murphy in a performance that was both a career high and an Oscar winner.

Beetlejuice (1989)

To view Beetlejuice, we'll have to wait till September. The sequel to Beetlejuice that we never believed would happen. However, the first Beetlejuice will most likely continue to be superior to the second. Despite having a relatively little on screen time, Michael Keaton's amusing character steals every scene in which he appears.

Sicario (2015)

Prime video movies

Denis Villeneuve, the director of Dune, collaborated with Taylor Sheridan, co-creator of Yellowstone, on the critically praised thriller Sicario over ten years ago. Emily Blunt plays FBI Special Agent Kate Macer in the major role, but Benicio del Toro, who plays Mexican assassin Alejandro Gillick for the CIA, steals the show.
